Great importance in preventing the risk of osteoporosis is also regular physical activity which helps to maintain bone mineral density. Many studies shown that most effective types of exercise are aerobics, weight bearing (walking, dancing) and resistance exercise. Exercise and healthy diet are also very important in preventing heart disease, while adequate physical activity and healthy diet are also very helpful in treatment of both osteoporosis and cardiovascular diseases.
